On May 18, the 1 year anniversary of SkirtsAndShorts, the server where i kept SkirtAndShorts was hacked into by some bozo in Brazil. He defaced over 100 sites that were parked at Dream-Server.com. SkirtsAndShorts was not defaced.

The following weekend, the owner of Dream-Server said he needed to take the server off line to do some work on the server. The hacker had left behind Trojan's which left "back doors" to the server, so he could gain access again. A lot of us site owners were patient and but server never came back.

The owner of Dream-Server, didn't communicate with none of us. So, in my mind, he basically said, "Fuck it" and dropped the whole potato. I guess he bit off more than he could chew with running his server. He screwed a bunch of people. There was one lady who had just paid for space on the server and never got to use it. Another guy had paid $200 for 2 years advance service. He never got his money to my knowledge. Me? I was due to renew my service in a month. I probably lost $10. What i DID lose was lots of images.

I was a dumbass for not doing any off-site back ups. I lost hundreds of pics at SkirtsAndShorts.com and i have no way to get them back. So, alot of you can blame me for screwing that part up.

Anyway, one of SkirtsAndShorts' visitors, Phil, whom i had normal contact with, talked me into restarting SkirtsAndShorts again. Only it's SkirtsAndShorts.net now. I am starting over with little to none as far as images go. Please be patient while i slowly rebuild this site. Eventually, it will be back to what it was, except that the photos i had are gone and i will be using newer one's. That's the short story on the whole fiasco.
